COURSE No1
Le Touquet La Foret
Was designed by Horace Hutchinson (5659 m, 6315 yards PAR 71) . The course is laid out in Le Touquet's scenic pine forest and has a relatively flat layout, very pretty, with some tight fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Less taxing than Le Mer and suitable for all levels.
La Foret (The Forest) might be regarded as the lesser of Le Touquet's two 18-hole courses, but this predominantly tree-lined layout also puts up a thoroughly enjoyable test of golf. Pre-dating the more acclaimed La Mer course by 27 years, La Foret occupies a flatter and more wooded parkland environment. Pine and birch trees flourish alongside the good-width fairways, and can occasionally play their part in putting a wayward drive back into play. You will not be exposed here to the open, towering sand dunes of its companion. However, and especially on La Foret's back-nine, you'll find many excellent holes that benefit from gently undulating, naturally contoured terrain. The downhill par-3 17th is one of the highlights of La Foret's closing stretch.
COURSE No2
Belle Dune
Belle Dune receives more and more plaudits and is deservedly recognised as one of the most beautiful courses in Europe. Designed as a wonderful walk through one of the largest nature reserves in Europe, you can’t help but swing with a big smile – regardless of your score. The recipe for success here is to follow the shape of the fairways in order to attack the large greens, putt well and don’t lose your concentration or cut any corners. Go for a few birdies when it’s calm but be happy with bogeys when the wind blows off the nearby coast. Easy walking, though the distance between green and next tee can be long. Small but welcoming clubhouse. One mile from Fort-Mahon and 18 miles south of Le Touquet. A real gem. Only seven buggies are available as Belle Dune is a protected nature reserve. So please ask us to reserve buggies for you as soon as possible.
COURSE No3
Hardelot Les Pins
Hardelot Les Pins Golf course was first built in 1905 by Tom Simpson. The course was extensively redesigned in 1931 by the famous architect Tom Simpson. To date it still bear witness to the classical era of British Golf architecture. Laid out in a beautiful forest it epitomizes a style which has been gratefully inherited by several generations of golfers
Hardelot Golf Club has an extraordinary layout as the Golf courses are located at different sides of the town. Separated by only 1km both are very accessible from the town centre
The warm and friendly club house where one can re-count the best shots of the day over a drink on the balcony or by the welcoming fire place or whilst savoring a meal in the relaxing restaurant
Hardelot earned its name as a holiday destination in the early years of the 20th century, during the Entente Cordiale, when aristocratic and other distinguished British and French visitors would meet there. Nowadays, nearly built motorways and the Channel Tunnel have substantially reduced travel time to this Pas de Calais resort which, along with the neighboring town of Le Touquet, has remained a premier sports and relaxation venue.
